ABOUT
APAT Western Australia is a not-for-profit association and affiliated member of the Australasian Porcelain Art Teachers Association.
It was originally founded in 1967 under the name of 'China Painters Teachers Association' (CPTA) to support teachers of porcelain painting in Western Australia. Today its objectives are to foster closer relationships between teachers of the art and to hold working exhibitions aimed at producing higher standards, the adoption of new techniques and generally improving the art of porcelain painting.
APAT WA has an active committee and organisation holding regular meetings in Perth. It produces six newsletters annually, hosts guest speakers, organises porcelain painting workshops and holds exhibitions and sales of work. A Regional Exhibition is held every second year on the alternate year to APAT's Australasian Convention. For the latest information visit the Events Page or contact the Secretary.

Full Membership
Teachers of porcelain painting are invited to be assessed for Full Membership of APAT WA. Application form and conditions are available from the Treasurer who will be happy to provide further information. Contact Us or Download Application Form.
Affiliate Membership
Non-teaching china painters or those with just a fascination or interest in the fine art of Porcelain Painting are invited to become Affiliate Members of APAT WA. Affiliate members will receive the same rights as full members with the exception that entry to APAT National exhibitions will be by invitation only. Affiliates may attend all meetings, workshops, talks by special guest speakers, receive two-monthly emailed newsletters and more. AFFILIATE MEMBERS : $40 per annum
MEMBERSHIP FEES are due annually on 1st January
